A new top storey to 1950s office was added to provide a two-bedroom apartment with exposed Larch trusses. By refining the design: mortice and tenon joints were possible for all the timber/timber connections.  to the existing structure below. A slender floor zone was achieved for the concealed bottom boom of the truss, without strengthening up

ICC inspected the trusses being assembled in the factory to ensure that site erection went smoothly.
