THE BOAT HOUSE,
CLEVEDON
Based on the original concept of a boathouse, this house received a full-width extension while mimicking the existing timber structure.
Â
A single-storey extension to the rear was added, covered by a sedum roof. This became the main access connecting the house to the rear garden.
Â
ICC had to carefully consider the external drainage system so it can run from the rear garden to the front of the property, without flooding the new space.
