The old offices on St John’s Lane in Gloucester were converted and extended. By designing a timber structure, ICC managed to provide two storeys on top of the existing structure without strengthening up works. 

Natural light was provided in the basement with light wells formed by new RC retaining walls stepping outside the original footprint of the building.
