A new five-storey residential building containing a mixture of 44, one and two bedroom flats, is to be constructed on the site of the former Block D of the now-demolished Cadbury’s Chocolate Factory at Keynsham.

The proposed building is to be steel framed with composite metal and concrete deck floor supported by pile foundations. All internal walls are to be lightweight steel framing (SFS) while brickwork will be used externally.
